1. Who we are and what this policy covers
RONRON APPS provides PDF MASTER, an Android application for working with PDF documents. This policy applies to the app with package name com.ronronapps.pdfmaster.
PDF MASTER does not require a PDF MASTER account. This policy describes the app's data practices; services you choose to use with it have their own privacy policies.
2. Documents and information stored on your device
PDF MASTER processes documents on your device for features such as PDF creation, conversion, editing, merging, splitting, compression, text recognition, signatures, watermarks, and password protection.
- Documents and images: files you select or scan, imported copies, and generated output files.
- Local app information: document previews, temporary files, favorites, recent activity, and preferences.
- Feature access information: reward usage timestamps, available reward credits, and Premium purchase verification information.
Imported copies and app data are stored in the app's private storage. We do not operate a server that receives your document contents, scanned pages, extracted text, or signatures. PDF MASTER does not include a separate RONRON APPS analytics service; third-party SDK data processing is described below.
3. File access, scanning, sharing, and printing
You select documents through Android's file picker. PDF MASTER uses access granted to the files you choose rather than requesting unrestricted access to all files on your device.
Document scanning uses Google's scanning interface through Google Play services. You can capture pages or select images through that interface. Scanner components may need an initial download. Document processing and the app's bundled text recognition run on the device. Google Play services may process service and diagnostic information under Google's privacy policy.
When you export, share, or print, the selected destination receives the relevant document. This may include another app, a cloud storage provider, an Android print service, or a printer. Their handling of the document is governed by their own policies and settings.
PDF MASTER does not automatically synchronize or back up your documents to Google Drive. You may explicitly export or share files to a cloud storage provider of your choice.
4. Advertising and rewarded access
The free version uses Google AdMob for banner advertising and optional rewarded ads. A completed rewarded ad can grant access to a selected Premium operation. Local usage records enforce reward limits and track available credits. Premium removes in-app advertising.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share your IP address, device or account-related identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information. An IP address may be used to estimate approximate location. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Processing depends on SDK settings, consent, and applicable requirements.
Where applicable, Google's User Messaging Platform presents privacy choices. You can revisit available choices through the advertising privacy option in the app's Settings. You may also manage your advertising ID in Android settings. Some non-personalized advertising still involves data processing.
Read Google's Privacy Policy, Google's advertising information, and Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures for more details.
5. Premium purchases
If you purchase Premium, payment is processed by Google Play. RONRON APPS does not receive or store your payment card number or bank account details.
The app uses Google Play purchase information, such as the product identifier, purchase token, receipt, signature, and purchase status, to verify access and restore eligible purchases. Verification information is stored in the app's private storage. Google retains transaction information under its own policies.
Restoring a purchase depends on the applicable Google Play account and purchase status. Locally stored advertising rewards are separate from purchased Premium access and may be lost if you clear app data or uninstall the app.
6. When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to answer your request, resolve problems, and maintain necessary support records. Please avoid sending sensitive documents or payment details unless they are necessary for your request.
Our email service provider processes correspondence to deliver and store messages. We retain correspondence only as needed for support, legitimate record keeping, and applicable legal obligations.
8. Retention and security
Documents and local settings remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. You can delete documents, history, and preview cache using the available app controls. Temporary files may remain until cleaned up or app storage is removed.
Uninstalling the app does not remove copies previously exported, shared, printed, or stored by another service. Those copies must be managed separately. Third-party providers determine retention of data they process, including advertising and purchase records.
We use Android's app storage protections and reasonable safeguards appropriate to the app. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Optional PDF password protection applies to documents you choose to protect; it does not mean that every stored file is encrypted.
9. Your privacy choices and rights
- Choose which files to import and which destinations receive exports or shared documents.
- Delete documents and local activity, or clear app storage through Android settings. Export important files first.
- Manage available advertising consent choices in the app's Settings and advertising ID controls in Android.
- Manage purchases and Google account information through Google Play and your Google account.
- Contact us about personal information you have provided directly, including support correspondence.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. We may need to verify your request. We cannot remotely access or delete documents held only on your device.
10. Children's privacy
PDF MASTER is a general-purpose productivity app and is not specifically designed for children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features or data practices change. The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
