1. Who we are and scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Ronavue Photo Editor Android application (package name com.ronronapps.ronavue), provided by RONRON APPS. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or apps that you may open from Ronavue.
2. Photos and content you select
Ronavue uses the Android photo or document picker so you can choose images to edit. Selected photos, edits, templates, local projects, brand settings, and temporary working files are processed and stored locally on your device. RONRON APPS does not operate a server that receives or stores your photos.
Ronavue preserves your source image and saves an edited copy when you export. Exported images are placed in your gallery. When you choose Share, Android sends the exported image only to the app or service you select; that recipient's privacy practices then apply.
3. Information processed by advertising services
Ronavue is free and supported by banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded advertisements. The app integrates the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and Google settings, these services may collect, use, or share:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- device and account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID or app set ID when available;
- app interactions such as app launches, taps, ad impressions, and video views; and
- diagnostic and performance information, such as crash, hang, launch-time, and energy-usage data.
Google uses this information for advertising, ad measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention. Data handled by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. RONRON APPS does not receive your selected photos through the advertising SDK.
Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information for advertising.
4. Consent and advertising choices
Where required, Ronavue uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and store your advertising privacy choices before requesting ads. If a privacy options form is required in your region, you can reopen it from Privacy & About → Ad preferences in the app.
You can also reset or delete your advertising ID and manage ad privacy controls in Android settings. Editing tools remain available when you are offline, although advertisements and consent services require an internet connection.
5. Permissions and device access
- Internet and network state: used for advertisements, consent messages, and related fraud prevention and measurement.
- Selected photo access: used to open only the photos or files you choose through Android's picker.
- Storage on Android 9 and earlier: used only to save exported images to your gallery. Newer Android versions use the system media APIs without broad storage permission.
Ronavue does not request precise location, contacts, microphone, camera, or account-login permission.
6. Retention and deletion
Local drafts and projects remain on your device until you delete them in Ronavue, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Temporary cache files may be removed by the app or Android. Uninstalling normally removes private app data, but exported images remain in your gallery until you delete them.
RONRON APPS does not maintain a Ronavue user account or remote photo archive. Data processed by Google is retained under Google's policies and your Google or Android privacy settings.
7. Data sharing
RONRON APPS does not sell your photos or operate a service that uploads them. Data may be processed or shared with Google through the advertising and consent SDKs for the purposes described above. Information may also be disclosed if required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect users, rights, and service security.
8. Security and international processing
Local app data is protected by Android's app storage controls. Google advertising data is transmitted using encryption in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Google and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their applicable safeguards and privacy terms.
9. Children
Ronavue is a general-audience photo editor and is not directed to children under 13. RONRON APPS does not knowingly collect children's photos or personal information through a Ronavue account or photo server. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to RONRON APPS, contact us so we can review and address the request.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent. Because RONRON APPS does not maintain user accounts or a remote photo database, most Ronavue content can be controlled directly on your device. For advertising data, use the in-app ad preferences, Android privacy controls, and Google's privacy controls. You may contact us about any remaining request.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Ronavue's features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
