Your prints.
Your privacy.
RonInk: Thermal Printer is provided by RONRON APPS. This policy applies to Android application com.ronronapps.ronink, version 1.1.0. Effective date: November 3, 2026.
What the app processes
RonInk processes text, images, PDF pages, receipt details, and QR/barcode content you choose to print. It also stores printer names, Bluetooth addresses, USB vendor/product identifiers, network addresses and ports, and your settings locally to connect to your selected printers.
Local storage and retention
Print previews and the last 20 sent or interrupted jobs are saved in private app storage for reprinting. Older saved jobs are removed when new jobs are recorded. Delete them using History → Delete all history. Printer profiles and preferences remain until removed or app data is cleared. Temporary Android print-service files are deleted after processing; interrupted-process leftovers may remain in cache until cleared. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local app data. Android system printing may maintain its own job records. Android cloud backup is disabled for RonInk. Advertising consent preferences, completed-print frequency counters, the last interstitial time, and any earned ad-free expiry time are also stored on the device. Clearing app data resets these local records and any remaining ad-free reward. Advertising SDKs may maintain their own caches and consent records.
Transmission and sharing
When you request a print, document data is transmitted to the printer or network address you select over Bluetooth, USB, or TCP/IP. RonInk does not operate a document-upload server and does not send your document contents, receipt text, selected images, printer addresses, or print-history images to AdMob. Raw network printing (usually port 9100) is not encrypted; use a trusted local network and verify the destination. Advertising-related data is handled separately as described below.
Google AdMob advertising
RonInk 1.1.0 uses Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Ads include a banner on Home, occasional interstitial ads after a successful in-app print task is acknowledged, and optional rewarded ads for 30 minutes without banner/interstitial ads. Printing does not require watching a rewarded ad. Google automatically collects and shares data such as IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), app and ad interactions, diagnostic information including crash/performance data, and device/account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID when available. These data are used for advertising, measurement/analytics, and fraud prevention. RonInk does not include a separate Firebase Analytics SDK or additional mediation networks. Google may process data on servers outside your country. Google handles its data retention and deletion according to its own policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. How Google uses information from apps: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Advertising consent and choices
RonInk checks advertising consent using Google UMP before initializing the advertising SDK and requesting ads. Where required and configured in AdMob, a consent message is shown. Go to Settings → Ad privacy choices to reopen available privacy options or check their availability. Personalized or non-personalized ads depend on your choices, applicable requirements, and Google configuration; non-personalized ads may still process technical data. You can also manage or delete/reset the advertising ID in Android Settings. If consent does not permit ad requests, printing remains available without requesting ads. Earned ad-free time is saved locally; it suppresses new ad requests and removes banner/interstitial ads for 30 minutes, but does not delete information already processed by Google.
Permissions
Nearby devices / Bluetooth access is used to list paired devices and connect to a printer. USB access is requested for a connected USB device. Network access supports network printers, Google advertising, and consent services. Google Mobile Ads also declares advertising ID and network-state permissions. Documents are accessed through the Android file picker or a share action; RonInk does not request broad storage, location, contacts, microphone, or camera permissions. Approximate location may be inferred from the IP address by the advertising provider even though RonInk does not request device location permission. You can revoke permissions in Android Settings; the related feature will stop working.
