Privacy Policy
For RonGo: Adblock Browser on Android.
This policy explains what stays on your device, what third-party services receive, and the choices you have.
Effective date: November 5, 2026 · Version 1.2
1. Who we are
RonGo: Adblock Browser (“RonGo”, “we”, “our”) is provided by RONRON APPS. Our website is ronronapps.com. Contact us at [email protected] for privacy questions and requests.
This policy covers the Android application with package ID com.ronronapps.rongo. It does not replace the privacy policies of websites you visit, search engines, Android, or other services you choose to use.
2. Data stored on your device
- Browsing data: normal-mode history (up to 300 entries), open-tab addresses, page titles, bookmarks, bookmark folders and shortcuts.
- Website data: cookies, cache, site storage and sessions managed by Android System WebView. Third-party cookies are blocked by default and can be enabled in Privacy settings.
- Preferences: language, search engine, site protection settings, blocking counters and advertising privacy choices.
- Downloads: download links, names and status are stored locally. Android Download Manager saves requested files to the device's Downloads/RonGo folder.
RonGo does not include a RONRON APPS account, cloud history sync or a developer-operated browsing analytics backend. We do not intentionally send your browsing history, search text or bookmarks to Google AdMob. A third-party service can still receive data when you directly interact with it.
3. Websites, searches and network connections
When you open a website, that website and its service providers receive your connection information, including your IP address and browser information. Searches are sent to your selected search engine. Websites may collect data through their own cookies, scripts, forms and media players under their own policies.
RonGo is not a VPN and does not hide activity from your internet provider, network administrator or websites. Website ad blocking reduces requests to known advertising and tracking domains; it cannot guarantee that every ad or tracker is blocked. SafeSearch is managed by Google and may be restricted by your account or network.
HTTPS traffic is encrypted by the relevant website connection. RonGo can also open HTTP sites; those connections are not encrypted. Invalid TLS certificates are not bypassed by the app.
4. Private browsing
Private tabs run in a separate browser process and website-storage profile. They do not share normal browsing cookies or save browsing history and restored tabs. RonGo does not initialize its advertising SDK in private sessions.
Closing a private session clears its cookies, site storage and cache. Any leftover private profile from a terminated process is cleared when a new private process starts. Private browsing is not anonymity: websites and networks may still observe your connections.
Files you download and bookmarks or preferences you explicitly save can remain on the device after a private session ends. Download records may also remain in Android Download Manager. You can delete saved files through your device's file manager.
Secure DNS (optional)
Automatic uses your device network. Choosing Google, Cloudflare, Quad9 or AdGuard sends domain-name queries over HTTPS to that provider, which receives your IP address and queried domains. RonGo does not keep a DNS query history or send it to RONRON APPS. Browser HTTP/HTTPS traffic uses a device-local relay for address resolution; HTTPS website traffic remains encrypted end to end, without installing certificates or decrypting it.
The choice applies to WebViews in the current app process, including any SDK WebViews. Private windows inherit the choice when opened. Android DownloadManager, native SDK traffic, other apps and separate WebRTC paths use their own network settings. This is not a VPN and does not conceal your IP. An unavailable selected provider causes connection failures rather than silent fallback; choose Automatic to return to the device DNS.
See Google Public DNS privacy and Cloudflare resolver privacy, Quad9 privacy, and AdGuard DNS privacy. Filtering depends on the chosen service; family variants restrict adult content and may enforce SafeSearch.
5. Google AdMob advertising
RonGo uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). App advertisements are separate from ads on websites. A banner may appear on RonGo's home screen. A frequency-limited interstitial may appear after you explicitly close all normal tabs. A rewarded ad is optional and can pause RonGo's app advertisements for one hour after the reward is earned. Website protection does not require watching an ad.
According to Google's SDK disclosures, AdMob may collect and share the following for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:
- IP address, which can be used to estimate general location;
- product interactions, including app launches, taps and ad/video interactions;
- diagnostic and performance information;
- device and account identifiers, including Android advertising ID, app set ID and other applicable identifiers.
Google states that SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Google and its advertising partners handle this data under their own policies. We do not claim that an ad-supported app collects no data.
Where required by the messages configured in AdMob and applicable location, UMP requests privacy choices before ads are requested. If consent information cannot be obtained and ads are not permitted by the SDK, browsing remains available without loading app ads. The Advertising privacy setting provides applicable privacy options. You may also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all advertisements.

6. Permissions and optional actions
- Internet and network state: for browsing, downloads, consent information and app advertisements.
- Advertising ID: used by the advertising SDK where available and permitted.
- File picker: when a website asks for an upload and you select files, those selected files can be supplied to that website. RonGo does not request broad storage access.
- Voice search: if you choose voice search, Android opens an available speech-recognition provider. That provider may process your speech under its own policy. The recognized search text is sent to the selected search engine.
- External apps and sharing: when you confirm an external link or choose a sharing destination, the selected app receives the link or content you share.
- Picture in picture: used only to display supported playing video in a floating window.
This release does not request contacts or device location permissions and does not grant websites camera, microphone or geolocation access.
7. Sharing, international processing and legal bases
RONRON APPS does not sell your browsing history or bookmarks. Google and other services you use may process information in countries other than your own and may share data with their service providers, advertising partners or authorities as described in their policies.
Where applicable, processing is based on providing the functions you request, your consent for optional advertising processing where required, legitimate interests such as preventing abuse, or legal obligations. Google determines the applicable basis for its own independent processing. Your rights and available choices depend on your location.
8. Retention and deletion
Local browsing data remains until you clear it, delete the relevant item, clear Android app storage or uninstall RonGo. Normal history is limited to the most recent 300 distinct entries. Downloaded files stored outside app storage can remain after uninstalling; remove them separately with your file manager.
In RonGo, use Settings → Clear browsing data to clear history/restored tabs, cookies/site storage and/or cache. Long-press a bookmark to remove it. Clearing cookies may sign you out of websites. Android app storage controls remove preferences and other local app data.
Data collected by Google is retained according to Google's policies and settings, rather than a retention period controlled by RonGo. Clearing local browser data does not delete data already held by a third-party service.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information, withdraw consent, object to processing, request portability, or complain to a supervisory authority. For data held by RONRON APPS, email [email protected]. We may request proportionate information to verify a request. We cannot retrieve browsing history stored only on your device.
For data held independently by Google or a website, use that provider's privacy controls or contact them directly. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them to respond and handle your request.
10. Children, security and changes
RonGo is a general-purpose browser and is not designed specifically for children under 13 or the minimum age required in their location. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information to us can contact us.
We use Android application isolation, separate private browsing storage, user-controlled file selection and standard encrypted connections where supported. No application or network can guarantee absolute security. Keep Android and Android System WebView updated.
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date at the top identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated through the app, this page or another appropriate notice.
